2018年，随着电影《蚵丰村》后制步入尾声，四位音乐人在台北开始了即兴的配乐创作。这部在遥远渔村拍摄的电影不只探讨乡村，也扩及现代文明冲击下的世代挣扎。以此为本，导演林龙吟希望以跨界音乐元素，响应电影主题。
　
几位乐手专长遍及唢吶、电子、爵士、及世界民俗音乐。在四个月共同创作时间里，以完全随机互动方式，对着反复播放的无声电影画面，逐步打造带着实验尝试的混合声响。最终录制版本，有迷幻轮旋的台湾庙会旋律、有清亮疏离的实验电子声响、也有带着南美风情的打击器乐。

As postproduction of the film Ohong Village moved towards the end in 2018, four musicians begun their impromptu creations in Taipei, Taiwan. The film, shot in a remote fishing village, not only portrays the countryside of Taiwan, and also its clash between generations in the face of modern industrialisation. Based on this, the director Lungyin Lim wished to accompany the film’s theme with a crossover musical palette.

The musicians’ backgrounds range across Taiwanese Folk, Electronics, Jazz, and World Music. Within the four-month period of creation, they collaborated in total improvisation against the looping image of the film, and gradually built their desired soundscape in an experimental attempt. The final recorded version here brought together mesmerising carnival tunes of local temples, electronic chimes, and also, a touch of South American flavours shown in the percussions.
